My daughter would not have lived as long as she did without the care of her wonderful aids. The primary responsibility of our caregiver is to ensure that the client is safe, secure and comfortable. Companion service offers the client and family members peace of mind by assuring them that a responsible and trustworthy person is at home with them.

Meal preparation

Our caregivers are able to prepare all meals per your request. We will accommodate all special dietary restrictions and menu preferences. You will have the opportunity to eat nutritious meals necessary for healthier living.

Feeding

We understand the feeling of one not being able to feed yourself. Our caregivers are sensitive to this need and their assistance will help to make mealtime relaxed and enjoyable.

Light Housekeeping

Mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, surface cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchen, dusting furniture, etc. Our goal is to help our clients maintain a healthy, clean, organized environment.

Laundry and Changing of bed linens.

 

Respite Care for families

Provide short term breaks for family members who are daily caregivers themselves. Getting help will relieve stress, restore energy and promote balance in their own life.

Transportation Service

Driving the client  to and from appointments, shopping, etc.  Escorting adults on Access or public transportation.

 

 

Organize Mail

We can assist in sorting junk mail from important mail, and assist bill-paying, by helping to organize bills by their due dates.

 

Mobility

Activity and exercise are vital to a healthy lifestyle. Our caregivers are trained to assist with range of motion exercises. The benefits of movement include increasing stamina, strengthening the heart, lowering blood pressure, improving digestion and sleep.

 

Transferring

Our caregivers are trained proper transfer techniques. Transferring and moving and placing a person correctly, will aid in eliminating pressure areas on the skin, reducing atrophy and muscle stiffness.

Medication Reminders

Our caregivers will remind the client to take their medication that has been pre-poured by a family member or friend.
